Here are some of the questions that we get asked on a daily basis:

Is your contractor properly licensed with liability insurance and workers comp?

Epic has held a C-54 license for over 14 years and always maintains a minimum of $1,000,000 in liability insurance and all Epic employees are covered under our Workman’s Comp policy.

Does your contractor do both tile installation & slab fabrication?

Epic handles both tile installation and slab fabrication.

Is all work performed by your contractor done by their employees or do they subcontract any of the work?

All work performed is done by Epic employees, many of whom have been with the company for over 10 years.

Does your contractor specify the complete scope of work in their bids, including footages & installation details?

All of Epic’s estimates specify the exact scope of work including footages, edge specification and installation details. We want our clients to know exactly what they are getting when they sign an Epic contract.

Is our contractor capable of designing your product? Including scaled drawings & selecting and supplying the materials?

Epic can be as involved in the design as our clients need us to be. Our sister company, Famosa, is a full scale showroom/design studio where we help our clients select materials and bring their ideas to life with scaled and detailed drawings.

Does your contractor allow the client to be involved in the slab layout before the slabs are cut?

Epic encourages all clients to come to our shop and be involved in the exact layout of their slabs. We have a large yard where clients can view their slabs and select from the variety of edges that we display in our office.

Does your contractor follow the current installation standards governed by TCNA & ANSI?

Epic strictly abides by the current standards set by the TCNA and ANSI. We consider it our responsibility to help our clients understand those standards as well.

Is your contractor a member of the Marble Institute of America and what certifications do they carry?

Epis is a member of the M.I.A. and is a certified installer of Schluter Systems, Laticrete, Caesarstone, Silestone, Zodiaq, Eurostone, Compaq, Cambria and Vetrazzo.

Is your contractor certified to seal the project upon completion?

Epic is a certified installer of Dry-Treat sealer which carries an unprecedented 15 year warranty.

Does your contractor offer a warranty on their work?

As a licensed and bonded contractor all of Epic’s work is warrantied under California state law.
